What We Do

Audubon Society of the District of Columbia is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization with over 1,200 members whose mission is to promote the appreciation and conservation of birds and their habitats through the participation of those in the DC area. In addition to working on conservation, education, and advocacy, at least once a month Audubon Society of the District of Columbia conducts free bird walks throughout the District that aim to introduce our community to the wide array of birds and wild places that we are fortunate to have here.

Please join us in one of our events or drop in on a board meeting.
